Regarding The Founder
“I began working in film in London in 1998 during a gap year, right after graduating high school in Namibia. At that time, I was living in London, UK, and had a lifelong passion for filmmaking and animation.”
David Möller

From 1999 to 2001, David studied Animation and Graphics for Film and TV at City Varsity Film School in Cape Town, South Africa. He learned traditional cell animation, stop-motion animation, and 3D graphics, and also studied Producing for Independent Film at the institution.
By the end of 2001, he began working on film sets and freelanced in preproduction and production with various agencies and post-production houses, including TeleCine film grading and motion picture film labs.

Animation & Illustration collaborations

Taleafrica.com is an initiative by the Niilo Maki Institute in Finland, aimed at providing educational aid to lower-income communities in Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia. The program focuses on primary school education. He has been fortunate to assist in the Namibian sector of this great initiative as a videographer and illustrator a few times.
Film Industry Experience

From 2001, he also freelanced as a production assistant and assistant director in Cape Town. He gained experience on international productions for commercials and feature films. Additionally, he freelanced as a production coordinator for fashion and magazine editorial shoots and worked as a studio photographer for a casting agency.
In 2008, he was a personal assistant to the action director on the unique Bollywood action production 8×10 Tasveer, for locations in South Africa.
In 2012, he worked as an AD on Mad Max: Fury Road in Namibia.

David had to relocate to Namibia at the end of 2011 and continued working with top production companies and directors there.
In 2016, he freelanced on The Mummy for Namibian locations. Working with the International Production department, his experience in London gave him an advantage, he focused on operations between the local crew and the international producers on location.
